Mechanical Engineering Computer Labs maintains more than 50 computers available for academic use. Computer Labs serve as physical learning and study destinations providing students with the latest and greatest computing tools, software and other technology resources to accomplish their academic goals for instruction, research and presentation.

Mission

  1. Develop state of the art facilities related to mechanical manufacturing and fabrication.

  2. Attract highly qualified student to the department.

  3. Widen the scope of research and education of department of Mechanical Engineering

  4. Produce quality human resources of high standard in mechanical engineering who can contribute favorably to the technological and social, economic development of the nation

Teaching objectives

Allow students to practicing with design, simulation and programing software, improve students' learning ability and practical skill.

  1. Understand the design, simulation, drawing and programing concepts and principles.

  2. Acquired skills for product drawing and industrial designing.

  3. Interpret complex engineering drawings including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

  4. Perform competently in solving technical manufacturing and engineering mathematics problems.

  5. Exhibit competency in two-dimensional, three-dimensional and solid-modeling skills as applied to complex computer-aided design technology.

  6. Demonstrate an understanding of the role and function of computers and effectively use
