e-Electrical motorcycle lab is established with the purpose of training student to be an expert for electrical motorcycle design, manufacturing, and maintenance. Notably, e-Electrical motorcycle lab enriches the practical application fields of National United University and increase student’s competitiveness of professionals.

Teaching objectives

The iPAS- electric vehicle mechatronics engineer certification of the Ministry of Economic Affairs is used as the blueprint for the credits and courses. Combination with the existing application field at university included battery development, dynamic structure, etc….to establish the special education and research.

The core courses include maintenance process, battery design, mechatronic system, and special topic for obtaining the electronic motorcycle certificate from the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

  1. Introduce electrical motorcycle concept

  2. Understanding electrical motorcycle charge system and battery design.

  3. Understanding mechanical structure and electrical motor design

  4. Practicing electrical motorcycle maintenance process

Industry cooperation

e-Electrical motorcycle lab aims for developing newest technology for electrical motorcycle industry. We will work closely to the electrical companies in local area as well as in Taiwan such as CMC, SYM, KYMCO, and Gogoro…etc for both research and education. We aim to be the first and largest electrical motorcycle technology center in Miaoli area.
